Nonetheless, the aforementioned wedding fever has begun to affect me subconsciously. In particular, I am obsessed with the idea of unique wedding favors. I find myself daydreaming about unusual wedding favors day and night. I think it started a few months ago when I went to my cousin's wedding. He certainly did not have unusual wedding favors. He had the most conventional fare you could imagine. Each table had little gift baskets filled with chocolates and candies, as well as sparkles and sprinkles. I didn't mind, but I thought if he bothered to come up with a more unusual wedding favor, I would have added some extra flair.
Since then, not a day has gone by when I have not thought about what the most unusual wedding favors would be. I'm long past wedding mugs, candies, chocolates, and other delicacies. I have thought about coffee, tea, and even caviar as possible ideas for unusual wedding favors. Eventually, however, I threw the whole food concept out. Everyone expects food for wedding favors. Even if you have something rather exotic, it certainly won't surprise people that much. For unusual wedding favors, I think, you need something much stranger.
I really haven't made up my mind yet, and there is only one idea that I have had that is any good. I thought that the wedding centerpieces themselves could come apart and contain various unusual wedding favors. They could contain small notes from the bride and groom, photographs taken of the happy couple, and little trinkets and gifts for the wedding guests. None of this, however, seems all that creative. I know it is silly and somewhat juvenile to try to be different, but I really can't help it. When I do get married, I want my wedding to be perfect. My desire to have unusual wedding favors is more than a passing fascination. It is a necessity.
