Same day flower delivery has been a real lifesaver for me. I forget special occasions all the time. I guess that it’s because I’m not good with dates (I have trouble remembering my own birthday). Same day flower delivery is a great resource for the forgetful at heart.
There is one little catch to the system that may not help those of us who are not morning people. You usually have to order by two o’clock in the afternoon for the order to make it to its destination in time. This is actually quite impressive for same day flower delivery considering everything that is involved.
If you look at your calendar to find that you have forgotten your mother’s birthday for the second year in a row you may feel a drop in the pit of your stomach. This is especially true if you are really busy. However, if you make the discovery before two o’clock in the afternoon, you’re in luck.
There is another slight drawback to the same day flower delivery system. Your choice of arrangements is a little limited. This has never been an issue for me because I have always found beautiful arrangements that can be sent and received on the same day. Even though same day flower delivery does limit your choices, the limited choices are all excellent.
You can also opt to send items and gift baskets through the same day flower delivery system. I love sending my mother chocolates or gift baskets filled with great smelling bath salts and spa luxuries. She thinks that I spent hours thinking up a wonderful gift and I get credit for being so thoughtful.
Once you get past two o’clock in the afternoon, you’re out of luck. There is always the local store on the way home from work as another option. I can guarantee that you won’t find the selection that you can with the same day flower delivery programs. Just make sure that you check you calendar first thing in the morning and you should be fine.
