The first thing that I had to consider when browsing the pattern for baby blanket crafts was my own talent. I have just a little bit and I am pretty realistic about my shortcomings. This doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t challenge myself. It just means that I don’t want to get in over my head on an important project like this.
While I was really interested in some of the designs I had to step back and consider if I could complete the project without getting into a stressful situation. The last thing I wanted to do was to get neck deep in a pattern for baby blanket designs just to find out that I couldn’t finish it in time.
This kind of thing has happened to me before. I underestimated the difficulty of another important project for my sister’s wedding and found myself attending her bridal shower empty-handed and blushing. There was no way that I was going to do the same thing by choosing a pattern for baby blanket projects that was too difficult for me to complete.
I also didn’t want to choose something that I could complete in one afternoon. I wanted a pattern for baby blanket crafts that would pose a bit of a challenge as well. The no sew fleece blankets were not an option. I many have limited talent but I really don’t need to complete a craft that is that easy.
The great thing about many of the pattern for baby blanket designs that I found was that they offered a level of difficulty along with the instructions. That is, many of them did. There was some that left me scratching my head. These ones were left behind. I just didn’t feel like gambling on this particular project.
I finally decided on one design that really stood out. It was listed as a pretty challenging design but not one that would be too taxing for a crafter like me. Soon I found myself completing the pattern for baby blanket project and I was thrilled with the results. I know that my nephew will be, too.
